People often say that gold and silver are the most valuable things in the world. But I don't think so.

In my opinion, to read books is more valuable than anything else. The old saying "To open a book is always helpful" clearly tells us how good it is to read a book. Books are our friends. They introduce us different kinds of knowledge. They lead us down the road to success. Books are our teachers. They teach us troth, science, literature, and philosophy of life. Besides, they increase our knowledge, enlarge our experience, strengthen our character and do many other things which we can not do without them. Books tell us what is good and what is evil. And only books can tell the good from the bad. Therefore to read more books is the best policy for our young students.

在我看來，讀書比其他任何事情更有價(jià)值。有句老話：“開卷有益”清楚地告訴了我們讀書的好處，書是我們的朋友。它們向我們介紹不同種類的知識(shí)。他們帶領(lǐng)我們走上成功之路。書是我們的老師，他們教我們真理、科學(xué)、文學(xué)、哲學(xué)和生活。此外，它們?cè)黾游覀兊闹R(shí)、擴(kuò)展我們的經(jīng)驗(yàn)、加強(qiáng)我們的性格以及做很多其他事情，我們不能沒有他們。書告訴我們什么是好、什么是邪惡的，只有書籍可以分辨好壞。因此，讀更多的書是我們青年學(xué)生最好的策略。
