過(guò)去幾期討論 to 后面的詞何時(shí)要用動(dòng)詞的不定式，何時(shí)要用名詞；今天要講兩個(gè)相關(guān)而表面上非常相似的詞：一個(gè)是used to，另一個(gè)是 verb-to-be/ get used to。
Used to 是用來(lái)表達(dá)一些過(guò)往的習(xí)慣，因此總是以過(guò)去時(shí)態(tài)出現(xiàn)，連接在后面的是一個(gè)動(dòng)詞，例如：
I used to like watching movies, but I prefer stage plays these days.我以前很喜歡看電影，但現(xiàn)在偏向舞臺(tái)劇。
要表達(dá)現(xiàn)時(shí)的習(xí)慣卻不可以用 used to 的現(xiàn)在時(shí)態(tài) use to，而要采取別的表達(dá)方式，例如：
It is my habit to watch movies.
I always watch movies.
I prefer movies to stage plays.
Verb-to-be/get used to 說(shuō)的是習(xí)慣了的事物，可以是以前的、現(xiàn)在的，甚至是將來(lái)的，視乎前面出現(xiàn)的時(shí)態(tài)而定，而在 to 后面的須是名詞，例如：
I am used to getting up at 5 am in order to get the earliest train.
I don't like my boyfriend's cooking now, but I believe I shall get used to it.
