There is/ are
There is a library, a swimming pool and a computer room in my school.
There are a library, a swimming pool and a computer room in my school.
Jo 提出的句子,補(bǔ)語由三個(gè)名詞組成:a library、a swimming pool、a computer room,屬眾數(shù),按照上面的文法規(guī)則,動(dòng)詞也應(yīng)該是眾數(shù)。
但有不少人,包括母語是英語的人,看到第一個(gè)單數(shù)的名詞(a library),而用了 is ,沒有顧及繼之而來的 a swimming pool 和 a computer room。
